Course Description

In-person trainings are uniquely tailored for your organization and staff at various levels of knowledge & experience. Jonnae will coordinate with your administration to meet the needs of specific populations and topics. Jonnae creates a personalized experience using tailored examples and relevant group discussions, video presentations, written reflections, integration opportunities, and practice sessions for small to large groups. The course is grounded in science with an intentional focus on implementation in day-to-day practice.

Jonnae uses examples, stories, and humor to keep groups engaged. The day will fly by as participants from all skill levels increase their understanding of Motivational Interviewing, watch, and debrief M.I. demonstrations, and practice live. Jonnae uses participants’ questions and experiences to design activities in real time. Topics can include how to use M.I. in intake, follow-ups, remote appointments, goal setting, planning, phone calls, and team collaborative planning.

M.I. training from Jonnae has been truly the best thing I could have done for the benefit of my patients. They feel as if they are listened to and understood. In turn, they are able to initiate and maintain change on their own, but with my guidance. I wish we had all of our staff trained by Jonnae, our patient satisfaction would very much be impacted, and our ability to provide the best care would be enhanced.
